Danielle Moore, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Danielle Moore grew up in upstate New York in the Adirondack mountains. She is a 2002 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New England with a double major in marine biology and medical biology. More recently, she went back to school and received her Master’s degree in public health from the University of Iowa. She has an extensive research background and her work is published in the Journal of Parasitology. She is a well-versed practitioner in clinical medicine, emergency medicine, and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery with over 20 years of experience. In addition to her experience as a clinician, Dr. Moore has also served as a public health officer, epidemiologist, wildlife rescue volunteer, and worked overseas in the Middle East with the US Department of State’s Anti-Terrorist Assistance Program.
Dr. Moore has extensive world travel experience and this is one of her greatest passions. She also enjoys anything outdoors and flying with her husband, who is also a veterinarian, and a private pilot. They currently have three dogs; a middle-aged wirehaired dachshund who is a champion mole hunter, a labradoodle that is absolutely crazy, and a geriatric chihuahua that her husband carries around like a football.
Dr. Moore is ecstatic that she and her husband both have come on board to Ambassador fulltime and able to work together again – “we love it!!”
